Meet the Staff
Head Professional: Christain P. Scott
Christian Scott became the head professional at Oquirrh Hills in 2005. Scott's enthusiasm
for the growing the game of golf is evident in the successful junior golf, senior golf and men's
and ladies' programs conducted at Oquirrh Hills.
Scott has been well trained by some of the most legendary golf pros in the business including
Reid Goodliffe, Ken Clark and Jeff Green.
Goodliffe, a three time Utah Section PGA Professional of the Year says, “Christian has a great
belief and ability in customer service, his personality is outgoing, friendly and most enjoyable
to be around. His integrity and honesty are absolutely beyond approach. There is not, and I believe
could never be, any questions about his devotion to the game of golf. He is passionate about being
a PGA professional and being a top-notch head pro.”
For Scott, some old fashion ideas never go out of style. Scott says, “One of my favorite ideas is
‘You are the most important person to my business.’ It is my goal to have everyone complete a round at
our golf course with that feeling.” Treat customers as investments not transactions.
Scott has risen through the professional ranks with experience from Desert Dunes Golf Club in Palm
Springs, California; Glenmoor Golf Course in South Jordan; Wasatch State Park in Midway; Stansbury Park
Golf Course in Tooele and Toana Vista Golf Resort in Wendover, Nevada.
A graduate of the Professional Golf Association's Professional Golf Management Program, Scott's goal
is to make every customer at Oquirrh Hills feel welcomed and appreciated while increasing play at the
course through clinics, leagues, junior programs and his dedication to world-class service.
1st Assistant Professional: Nick Waters
Nick Waters became the Assistant Golf Professional at Oquirrh Hills in 2006.

huge sucess at Oquirrh Hills. In 2007, Nick and his professional staff taught 50 girls and over 120 boys
in the summer clinics.
“The greatest thing about tomorrow is; I will be better than I am today. That's the beauty of
tomorrow. The lessons learned today will apply tomorrow to make me the best that I can be.”
Come visit me at Oquirrh Hills Golf Course.
