It shall be the duty of the President to preside over all league meetings. He shall serve
as the officiating officer at any special meeting and will oversee the entire function of the
League. The President will be elected at the annual business meeting. The President will select
a Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer to facilitate control of the organization.
The Vice President shall assume the duties of the President in his absence and shall assume
all other duties as delegated to him by the President.
The Secretary/Treasure shall handle all correspondence, receive all dues and other funds;
placing them in a repository approved by the membership. Distribute funds approved by and
authorized by the President. Prepare annual financial statement for review by the membership
at the end of the playing season. Collect weekly tournament funds from Oquirrh Hills Golf
Course and deposit them in an approved repository.
Maintain handicaps for the membership, publishing an updated handicap list weekly. Handicap
list will be published prior to the next scheduled event. Collect all tournament score cards
from Qquirrh Hills Golf Course and update the handicap data base to reflect current status.
Membership into Tooele Senior Men’s Golf Association requires the participant to be fifty-five
(55) years of age or older. Super Senior golfers will be seventy-five (75) years or older.
Membership dues are $15.00 per year. It is the member’s responsibility to play by the UGA rules
and to protect the field by bring infractions to the attention of the person who committed the
infraction. If there is a dispute the matter will be settle by the course pro prior to signing
the card.
Super Senior Players (75 years or older) may participate in a Super Senior Tournament within
the Senior Tournament. The cost of playing in this tournament will be an additional five (5)
dollars. Tournament scores will be used for both the Senior Tournament and the Super Senior.
Tournament. Prizes will be distributed in the same manner as the Senior Tournament.
All players may participate in the Gross Score Tournament within the Senior Tournament. The
cost of playing in this tournament will be an additional $5.00. Tournament scores will be used
for all tournaments signed up for. Prizes will be distributed in the same manner as the Senior
Tournament.
To be eligible for the club championship all players must have accrued 6 points during the
regular season. 1 point will be awarded for each event entered during the season.
