2011 Adam & Eve Fun League
League Play
League play will be Thursday nights. 6:00 Shotgun Start. Teams must sign up by Wednesday night in order to play in a Thursday event. Pairings will be made on Thursday mornings. Teams may sign up to play with any team of their choice or can just sign up and will be paired with another group.
Formats
Best Ball (6 events): Both players will play their own ball each hole. Team will take the better score. Put both player's score on the scorecard.
Alternate Shot (3 events): Both players will tee off each hole. Team may choose which tee shot to play. The players whose drive is not used will hit the second shot and team will alternate until the ball is in the cup.
Scramble (9 events): Both players hit every shot. Team may choose which shot to play.
Rules
Men will play from blue tees, women from red tees. Men over 50 years old may play from white tees.
Teams must use each players tee shot at least one time per nine holes in all formats. (Par 3’s do count).
Club Championship
Teams must earn 7 points playing together as a team to qualify to play in Club Championship. You may play with other partners, but will not count for either player towards club championship points. Teams can earn 1 point for playing a Thursday event and 2 points for playing in Adam n Eve Icebreaker. (20 points possible).
Club Championship Format: Tee times off hole number 1. Groups will be determined by handicaps. Highest handicaps will go out first. First 6 holes will be best ball, holes 7-12 will be alternate shot, last 6 holes will be scramble. Signs will be on hole 7 and 13 tee boxes to remind groups of format change. Use each players tee shot at least 1 time on front 9 and one time on back 9.
Handicaps
All players must have a valid handicap prior to playing in any Adam n Eve event. If you do not have a handicap, contact the Oquirrh Hills Pro Shop.
Cost
Teams must pay $20 dues per team for the season. This money will be added to the club championship prize money. League play will cost $10 per team plus cart and green fees.
Contest Holes
There will be close to the hole contests for men and women on par 3’s each event. You can sign up for them when paying in the clubhouse. (Contest holes are optional).

Golf Etiquette
- Always be ready to hit in turn. Plan club selection while approaching your ball or waiting for others to hit.
- Let faster players play through if there is an open hole ahead.
- Players whose ball lies closest to hole attends or removes flag. First to hole out should be ready to replace flag.
- To speed up play, putt out, rather than marking ball. Leave putting green immediately after holing out. Record score on route or at next tee.
- Do not move, talk or stand close to ball, hole or in line of putt when a player is making a stroke.
- Rake footprints in sand traps.
- Repair ball marks on greens and fairways.
- Do not scuff shoes on the greens.
- Stay on cart paths when indicated.
- Use of cell phones are not permitted in tournament or during play of a hole.
Note: For pace of play reason, maximum strokes allowed at one hole is 10 strokes.
